The Startup Series: COVID Edition, is a program of the Downtown San Diego Partnership’s Collaboratory for Downtown Innovation–powered by Startup San Diego and Mission Edge.

This workshop (fourth of five) is designed for entrepreneurs, early-stage business owners, and founders who have recently launched or are thinking of launching a startup company.

Unique Value Proposition & Storytelling

This workshop is ideal for entrepreneurs who need some support in articulating their product/services’ secret sauce. Articulating your company’s strength, your vision, and market opportunity and packaging it to tell your why and do so while delivering a clear and compelling call-to-action are the fundamental building blocks of a solid pitch.

Join us as we’ll also dip into what you need to know about raising capital in a COVID climate and some insight into the local funding landscape.

What will I learn?

After this workshop, you’ll have more clarity on how to communicate what your doing/selling, understand current fundraising trends, and get some best practices/guidance on thinking about your investment needs.
