Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event where developers, designers, and business devs come together to build ideas from concept to launch all in one weekend.
It’s a great opportunity to test startup ideas, meet potential co-founders, build the community in San Diego — and maybe even launch your next startup!
We’re calling this event Startup Weekend Classic because in recent years, we’ve hosted a lot of events focusing on different verticals — including Veterans, Women, Social Impact, and Education.
This time, we’re bringing it back to the basics and opening up the pitch floor to any and all ideas you may have that can be tested over a weekend.

The Startup Collaborative Kickoff Event

Continuing to foster Tijuana/San Diego tech collaboration, we bring you two nights of events on both sides of the border!
On Tuesday, San Diego-based startups will be on display at the Startup Fair and then seven Mexico-based companies will demo their progress at the San Diego Downtown Library. On Wednesday, Mexico-based startups will be on display and then seven San Diego-based companies will demo their progress for the audience in TJ.
