We’re wrapping up 2024 and we’re excited to announce the newest partnerships for Startup San Diego! We’ve renewed our partnership with TiE San Diego and introduced The School of Young Entrepreneurs (SofYE) as our newest community partner. With these new connections, we hope to strengthen our relationship with the SoCal tech community and support young entrepreneurs in their startup journeys.

TiE South Coast
TiE San Diego, formed in 2000, is a non-profit community welcoming entrepreneurs from San Diego and surrounding areas. The chapter’s goal is to foster entrepreneurship within the community. We believe in creating a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem through mentoring, networking, and education.
TiE was founded in Silicon Valley in 1992 by a group of successful entrepreneurs and is currently the world’s largest entrepreneurial organization. With programs like TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) and Mentor Match, TiE is reaching out and fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs. Everyone is welcome to join!
The School of Young Entrepreneurs (SofYE)
The School of Young Entrepreneurs (SofYE), the flagship program of the Promise Foundation,is designed to provide experiences for students to learn aspects of business planning, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.
This is primarily accomplished through the annual SofYE Summer Camp. This dynamic summer camp, designed for middle school students, will take them on an educational journey to learn real-world entrepreneurial skills and foster a sense of their role in contributing to the greater good.
