Startup SD 1st Mondays 2023

Over 280+ community members came together for a packed event at the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation this past 1st Mondays. Huge thank you to our Startup San Diego volunteers, interns and staff for setting up the stage, manning registration, and making sure the event ran smoothly. Also, thank you to Nelly’s Kitchen for catering the delicious food and drinks for the night!

Jacobs Center Startup Resources

1st Mondays began with opening remarks from Cheryl Goodman, Vice Chair of Startup San Diego, and Alex Waters, Director of Economic Development at the Jacobs Center. Alex elaborated on the resources the Jacobs Center provides for budding entrepreneurs, which include:

  • Co-working space
  • Podcast studio
  • Creator studio
  • Workshops
  • Business accelerator program

What’s Next for Startup San Diego?

The next Startup San Diego event will be the annual San Diego Startup Week from October 23 – 27th.
