Dear speakers, thank you for participating in San Diego Startup Week 2019. You play a big part in the attendee experience as well as how we portray and represent our amazing local ecosystem. Thanks again for being an ambassador for innovation and entrepreneurship at one of our region’s biggest grassroots, community-led events!
Below are important reminders that will ensure you have a smooth speaker experience:

All speakers will receive a free ticket as a thank you from Startup San Diego. We will send instructions on how to claim your ticket soon

- Use/Integrate this Presentation Template for your Session
Please use Startup Week’s Google Slides template, which you can download as a PPT if needed, simply open the above link, go to ‘File’ in the menu bar and select ‘Download as’. If you have a presentation during your session or workshop, feel free to integrate it into the template, we just ask that you make sure to include the following slides in your presentation:
- Cover Slide
- Sponsors Slide
- Feedback Slide (at the end of your presentation)
- Audio/Visual Equipment and Internet
Please bring a fully charged laptop to your session, or make sure that your moderator will do so. Each room will be equipped with a projector, sound system, mic(s), and some common laptop adapters. Wi-Fi will be available but can become congested. We strongly suggest bringing a copy of your presentation on a USB drive.

We will be at the San Diego Convention Center May 29 to June 1st. If your session is scheduled on May 28th, then you are speaking in Tijuana; if your session is schedule June 2, you are speaking in Carlsbad. Below are addresses for all three locations:

When to arrive for your session at the Convention Center
Allow 1 hour for parking in downtown San Diego and registration before your first session. Traffic and parking conditions can change, so we suggest giving yourself ample time to arrive. Maps, directions, and venue and parking details can be found on the event info page.
Plan to arrive at your session room at least 15 minutes before the start of your session. Track captains may request some speakers arrive earlier.

Skip the line! When you arrive at SDCC, head on over to the Speaker Registration table to pick up your speaker badge.
