Green Pitch Slam Event:
Be a part of the first Green Pitch Slam Competition!
This event is open to all stages of green entrepreneurs that have a product, app, or business that is ready to be pitched to investors. Applications are due by May 31, 2017. Our panel of judges will choose the top 5 or 6 companies to present. All applicants will be notified by June 6, 2017.
The top three winners will be announced at the closing ceremonies on Friday evening, June 22, 2017 and be eligible for up to $15,000 in business plan review and mentoring, legal training, introductions to partners and investors, and other support.

Meet the Track Captain
Laura Carranza is an environmental professional with over 8 years of experience within the industry as a project manager, business strategist and entrepreneur. Her experience includes working with international teams located in Latin America. She is currently consulting with Environmental Business International and Liventia. Laura holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering and an MBA.
Jean is a marketing and communications professional with over 20 years of experience in marketing and business development. She has worked for international corporations as well as small startups and is passionate about working in sustainability and health related industries. Jean has strong design, writing, and presentation skills and is currently working with Environmental Business International along with sustainability entrepreneurs and organizations. Her broad range of experience includes her own entrepreneurial startup, running her own marketing business, and working with the Center for Sustainable Energy as a marketing, education, and outreach manager.
