-The Tijuana EDC is one of just 38 economic development organizations accredited by the International Economic Development Council.They offer a robust portfolio of services free of charge to companies interested in establishing a manufacturing operation in Mexico or searching to outsource manufacturing to Mexico. You will hear in this talk what options do you have, where to go or whom to connect.

Have a startup in Baja looking for traction? Startup San Diego hosts Mentor Hours with technology experts and successful entrepreneurs. Companies meet with mentors in rapid-paced 30 minute sessions that focus on overcoming their biggest current hurdle. This time during the Binational Track we want to bring talent from South the border and connect them with Mentors and continue this borderless community.

With a population of 112 million people, including a large and growing middle class, Mexico is a significant potential consumer market. How much the “Wall” has affect the way we do business here at the border? Chris Stock as an English Sales Expert living in San Diego, will share his insight of International sales and discuss the importance of understanding the cultural differences in building deep personal and professional relationships. He will look at the cultures of Mexico and the USA, and how we might approach selling cross-border.

Racially diverse teams outperform non-diverse teams by 35% (McKinsey 2015). Dan Feld from Google Developers will share about his experiences collaborating with and coaching entrepreneurs around the world through the LaunchPad program. He will reveal how diversity has impacted Google’s ability to innovate.
