Hear what people are saying about Startup San Diego

Partnering with startups has been a collaborative process that requires open and candid dialog between Clear Channel and the marketer about utilizing the power of data to deliver audiences and outcomes. I look forward to bringing that conversation to the stage to help other startups learn how to market like a unicorn.

Wege Foundation believes in supporting Start Up San Diego because its mission is at the cross-section of our four pillars of support. First, helping new business flourish and grow supports the local economy. With a healthy, equitable, and growing economy, the community can support the arts, focus on an inclusive culture, care and be stewards of our environment and continue to build a system of resources that fosters educational and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Startup San Diego has been a huge asset to our region. Their commitment to impact future founders, including aspiring talent who want to build scalable companies, has been a vital resource in the growth of an equitable and thriving startup ecosystem. Startup San Diego has evolved into an industry connector assisting in various fields when it comes to establishing a healthy hub of innovation and advancement.

Aleph One is a venture studio that invests in the startup ecosystem. We believe deeply in the founders’ journey and the capacity for technology to solve the world’s most intractable problems. Our support of Startup San Diego reflects our deep commitment and shared mission to nurture, educate and build extraordinary engines of innovation. The future starts here. Let’s build it together.

California has historically been the breeding ground for early-stage tech companies. And while San Diego specifically, has a budding startup community, it’s focused mostly on marine or biotech and the number of “unicorns” still pales in comparison to that of Los Angeles and San Francisco. LogicBoost Labs was founded in part to help change that ratio. There’s no question that talent and resources exist, but unfortunately, the networks that facilitate growth are still nascent. We’re proud to be part of events like San Diego startup week which are helping to address this gap.

The City of Carlsbad is proud to sponsor San Diego Startup Week and to host the opening day in Carlsbad. With a long history of innovation, Carlsbad is a hub of entrepreneurship and continues to be a destination for startups and talent.
