NavalX and The Inland Empire Tech Bridge, in partnership with FedTech, invites you to attend the Inland Empire Innovation Summit on April 23, 2024! Join fellow US Navy leaders and innovators alongside Inland Empire community stakeholders to discuss the state of innovation as it relates to national security and regional, economic initiatives.

Opening remarks will be made by Congressman Ken Calvert, a lifelong resident of Riverside County and 17-year small business owner in the restaurant and real estate industries, represents the 41st Congressional District of southern California. In the 118th Congress, Rep. Calvert continues to serve on the House Appropriations Committee. Rep. Calvert serves as the Chairman of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee. He also sits on the Energy and Water Appropriations Subcommittee.

You can expect to meet the startups and entrepreneurs from the Crucible Startup Studio and Crucible Accelerator cohorts as they pitch their concepts for commercializing technologies or solutions to one of our seven challenge statements/technology focus areas below.

About NavalX and the Inland Empire Tech Bridge’s Crucible

NavalX is the Department of Navy (DON) workforce “super-connector,” focused on scaling non-traditional agility methods across the DON workforce. Our Naval culture of decentralized autonomy has been described as an innovation landscape marked by isolated bursts of success.

Inland Empire Tech Bridge is anchored by NSWC Corona which has several premier national laboratories under its command as well an unprecedented multi-year innovation initiative referred to as Crucible and is intended to bolster the innovation and technology ecosystem in Inland Empire, greater Southern California, and beyond.
